After graduating from UNC-Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I worked in a hospital setting as a critical care registered nurse for several years before earning an advanced practice degree as an Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner at UNC-Greensboro. Since 2017, I have been employed at Integrated Pain Solutions and I practice personalized, patient-centered, compassionate approach, to achieve improved function and quality of life, for patients with chronic pain.
In May 2020, I completed a post-master’s certification at UNC-Chapel Hill as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, to add another dimension. I provide care to patients with chronic pain who often struggle with trauma, disability, anxiety and depression with individual and group therapy and medication management as well as treatment and support for substance use disorders.
My husband Charles and I raised three grown children in Wilmington, NC, and enjoy spending family time fishing and boating on the beautiful coast of North Carolina.
